This small rustic holiday centre is the best dining and sleeping spot between Yusufeli and Barhal, with a riverside cafe, restaurant and a pair of dining tables that straddle a stream in the orchard. Opt for the two-fish plate of barbecued trout, fresh from the on-site farm.
It's 500m off the Barhal road, 13km north of Yusufeli, accessed by a zigzag track.
If you fancy staying the night there are good quality pine-clad rooms in chalet-like buildings at the back of the garden (s/d ₺120/200) and bungalows sleeping up to six people (₺400). With your own tent you may camp here (₺20) and use the toilets but there's no shower for campers.
