Peterek Kalesi

The shattered ruins of this medieval castle rise on a modest rocky outcrop surrounded by the waving poplars of Çevreli village, just 800m off the D050, 5km southwest of Tekkale. The ruins are accessed by a hard-to spot footpath off an access lane that's dustily busy with lorries serving an adjacent quarry.
