The best option for budget travellers is Lake Tyers' scenic pub, 9km from Lakes Entrance. As well as basic dorms they offer grassy camp and caravan sites (powered and non-powered) where campers are permitted to stay the first night free ($15 thereafter). Use of kayaks, canoes and SUPs are complimentary. Call ahead for the courtesy shuttle from Lakes Entrance.

Otherwise there are six daily buses to/from Lakes Entrance ($2.40, 15 minutes). There's wi-fi in the pub, along with shower amenities.
