Brazil's most famous gourmet chef, Alex Atala of D.O.M. fame, is behind this expansive gourmet emporium featuring provisions from small farms and producers from the country's five ecoregions: caatinga, cerrado, Mata Atlântica, Amazônia and Pampas, which are spread about various spaces on the bottom floor of hip Mercado Municipal de Pinheiros.
It's a fantastic spot to pick up unique and otherwise hard-to-find culinary oddities from around Brazil.
