Cholula's transformation from a colorful satellite town of Puebla into a proper boutique city-break stepped up a notch with the introduction of a tourist train. Though Cholula is still (for now) far different from Puebla in its history and relaxed daytime ambience. Owing to its large student population, the town has a surprisingly vibrant nightlife and an increasing range of chic restaurants and accommodations options within a short walk of the huge zócalo.
