If you're craving high-calorie comfort food, head to R&R for a sophisticated version of classics like Philly cheesesteaks, reubens and pork chops, finished off with s'mores for dessert (graham cracker sandwich of melted marshmallows and chocolate). Crispy seafood gnocchi and salads are for the less gluttonous. It's a very un-diner-like look with brushed concrete floor and exposed industrial fixtures.
R&R has been vandalised several times by members of the ultra-Orthodox community who object to the fact that it's non-kosher, open on Shabbat and owned by a lesbian couple.
