Despite its pizza-centric menu, loud, familial Al '22 is famous for its parmigiana di melanzane (aubergine parmigiana), baked in terracotta ramekins and fired in the wood-fired oven. The result is a crisp, charred top that seals the cheesy, gooey bliss beneath. The pizza selection is amble, with spin-offs including golden, fried calzoni stuffed with satisfying combos like provola and sautéed escarole.
Pizzas are served from 11am, but all other dishes are only available from noon.
