Modern, casual Vero serves flavour-packed, flesh-free food at piazza-side tables and in an intimate, barrel-vaulted basement. The menu celebrates fusion fare, from a Neapolitan empanada stuffed with olives, capers, escarole and raisins to a bao-bun burger with seitan, avocado cream, rucola, Tropea onions and tomatoes. Libations include bottled and draught craft beers, as well as wines from smaller producers.
