Palia Poli

Macedonia

'Old Town' is a lovely restaurant inside a waterfront mansion opening onto a spacious courtyard, where you can spend hours over your food and wine as the frogs sing in the nearby lake. The fare is classic Greek – try the meatballs, prawn saganaki (pan-fried with cheese and tomato) or the veal liver in wine. The service is attentive and friendly.
