Byzantine Museum of Kastoria

Testament to Kastoria's importance as a Byzantine city, this museum holds some 400 Byzantine and post-Byzantine icons. Many are displayed, alongside sanctuary doors, frescoes and mosaics from local churches. Pottery and coins from the city and region and across the Byzantine period are also exhibited.
