La Cantinetta

Marseille

This classy Italian trattoria on the buzzy cours Julien is perennially popular. All the pasta here is homemade, and ingredients are sourced from Italy. Ask for a table on the lovely little garden, paved with terracotta tiles and shaded by palms. The bresaola (air-dried beef) and parma ham, sliced behind the counter, are superb, as is the linguine with clams.
