Āndá Jiàrì Jiǔdiàn

Inner Mongolia

This decent hotel is excellently located for that early-morning bus to Baotou or Alashan Youqi. Rooms are bright, spacious and quiet, though getting a bit scuffed, with excellent discounts regularly bringing the cheapest twins down to around ¥130. Staff have very limited English and there have been occasional reports of indifference.
