You could easily spend a couple of hours perusing the new and vintage clothing in the main space of Front & Company, which colonizes a row of storefronts along Main and threatens to become a hipster department store in the process. There's also knowingly cool housewares and must-have gifts and accessories (anyone for manga nightlights and unicorn ice trays?).
The ideal store to pick up a quirky souvenir for that difficult person back home who hates maple syrup (does such a person exist?); make sure you buy something cool for yourself as well.
