This yellow-painted, wood-built community hall – which has the look of a worker's club without the edge – is popular with local cool kids as well as old-school hippies who've been coming here for decades. Staging an eclectic roster of weekly events (many of them in the upstairs lounge), it also has regular live shows and DJ nights.
Check the calendar before you arrive and look out for highlights like open mikes, bluegrass nights and the ever-popular Celluloid Social Club, which lures local movie makers and cinephiles from across the city.
