Aside from the usual kitsch souvenirs, Lata's also has some quality Middle Eastern items, such as Moroccan lamps, Omani khanjars (traditional curved daggers), silver prayer holders and Bedouin jewellery. Prices for these tend to be quite high, but bargaining is possible.
