Park Inn Tete

Mozambique

One of Tete’s smart new business hotels built during the coal boom, the Park is modern, friendly and comfortable. There's a gym, a pool, wheelchair-accessible rooms and some arty colour accents to break the usual business blandness. The drawback: it's 3km from the city centre on the opposite side of the bridge in a kind of faceless no man's land.

There's an excellent on-site restaurant (mains Mtc400 to Mtc800).
