Opened in 1903 by the parish priest as a co-op grocery shop, this osteria (casual tavern) is still collectively owned by 50 Muranese families. Don't be surprised, then, by the friendly vibe, honest bowls of pasta (the swordfish, olive and tomato spaghetti is excellent) and some of the best pizza in Venice. In summer, sit out in the walled garden.
