Robin Hood

Almost a tourist attraction in its own right, the Robin Hood has been providing sustenance for weary travellers since medieval times. The door itself dates from the 16th century, and, in the 18th-century, clandestine Catholic masses were celebrated upstairs. It's still a great place for a pint, with a warm atmosphere, a big beer garden and a children's play area.
