The Kinmel is a rural enclave of fine food, real ales and, now, four beautifully finished boutique suites. But it's the restaurant (mains £17 to £25), one of Wales' most justly acclaimed gastropubs, that's the main attraction here. Cooked breakfasts aren't offered, but room fridges are stocked with breakfast fare the night before.
St George is near the eastern edge of Conwy and the North Wales coast. While there's not too much to entice visitors to this little hamlet, the Kinmel Arms is an exception.
