This Victorian mansion makes quite an impression with its Romanesque towers rising through its thickly wooded grounds on the banks of the Usk. The rooms are not overly luxurious for the price, but it is a wonderful building in a very pleasant setting. It's about 4 miles northwest of Crickhowell, off the A40.
