Cardiff Central YHA

Cardiff

Flanked by busy roads and car dealerships close to central Cardiff, this well-organised YHA has had the good sense to leave the building – a former Mercure hotel – substantially unchanged. Some of the bedrooms are now dorms and a guest kitchen, laundry and other facilities have been added, but all accommodation retains modern hotel-style bathrooms and there's plenty of parking.

Prices spike alarmingly at weekends.
