Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar with a roaring fire – Capel Curig's liveliest spot after dark, with mains from £15 to £19. Upstairs the rooms have all been prettied up, with feature wallpaper, exposed stonework and modern bathrooms. It also does packed lunches for walkers (£7.50 per person).
