Cat Ba Eco Lodge

Cat Ba Island

This resort boasts a rural location 12km from Cat Ba Town and 2km off the main road. Spacious, simple and somewhat overpriced wooden stilt houses sit around a breezy bar and restaurant, while more stylish but smaller A-frame cabins with a balcony are surrounded by pine forest. There's a relaxing pool, and activities include riding bicycles to a beach 2km away, plus nearby hiking trails.

It runs two daily shuttles to/from Cat Ba Town. If coming by bus from Hanoi, ring for a lift from the main road.
