Hotel Marokand

Samarkand

The eight fresh and bright rooms here have clean tiled bathrooms and good mattresses, plus there's a small but pleasant courtyard and helpful staff, all of which make this a good choice, especially for French speakers. The location in backstreets north of the Registan is a bit inconvenient and some rooms are smaller than others, so check a couple before committing.
