Bahodir B&B

Samarkand

Just moments from the Registan, this rather dank guesthouse is cheap and popular, even if the steamy common bathroom and the ramshackle en suite rooms leave a lot to be desired. The pleasant courtyard is often full of overlanders, swapping travel tales and info on remote border crossings. Ask to see several rooms (upstairs are better), as standards vary.
