FedEx Field

Washington, DC

Washington’s NFL team, the Redskins, plays September through January at FedEx Field. The team has experienced a lot of controversy recently, and not only because of its middling play. Many groups have criticized the Redskins' name and logo as insulting to Native Americans. The US Patent and Trademark Office agreed, and revoked the team's trademark.

FedEx Field is about 10 miles east of the Capitol. The Morgan Blvd Metro station is closest; from there it's a 1-mile walk to the stadium along a sidewalk.
