Trump International Hotel Washington DC

Washington, DC

Trump's company took the historic Old Post Office and gave it a $200 million makeover, transforming the Richardsonian Romanesque structure into a 263-room (and 35 suite) hotel palace that opened in 2016, complete with crystal chandeliers, exquisite millwork and a nine-story, light-filled atrium. To the surprise of no one, the venue has become a hub for Trump supporters.

The hotel's amenities are over-the-top in a very Trump sort of way. For example, there’s a three-bedroom presidential suite (the city’s largest), a 13,200-sq-ft Presidential Ballroom (the city’s largest) and a 10,000-sq-ft Spa by Ivanka Trump, and Fitness Center (definitely one of the city’s largest). One of the coolest things is the fact that guests and nonguests alike can visit the iconic, 315ft Clock Tower, which offers soaring city views.
