Michelin-starred Rose's is one of DC's most buzzed-about eateries. Crowds fork into worldly Southern comfort food as twinkling lights glow overhead and candles flicker around the industrial-chic, half-finished room. Rose's doesn't take reservations, but ordering your meal at the upstairs bar can save time (and the cocktails are delicious).
The pork sausage, habanero and lychee salad wow, as do the staff, who have an uncanny knack for treating everyone right. Rose's is the rare place that lives up to its hype. The line starts forming by 3pm.
