Phoenix Park Hotel

Washington, DC

Though it may look bland from the outside, the Phoenix is all Irish warmth, polished wood and Waterford crystal chandeliers inside. The hotel has long been home away from home for visiting Irish politicians. The rooms – upstairs from the Dubliner pub – are tidy and trim, done up in shades of crisp white and royal blue. They're not big, but they feel like home.
