This 50-year-old place, hailing itself as ‘America’s Legendary Music Hall,’ hosts a wide range of fare, from old-time folk musicians to country, blues and R&B stars. The lineup also features the odd burlesque show, indie rock bands and the occasional one-person comedy act.
The talent that graces the stage is reason enough to come, but the venue is pretty great too: it sort of looks like a warehouse that collided with an army of LSD-affected muralists. Located north of Old Town Alexandria, off Glebe Rd. Take bus 10A from Pentagon City station.
