A beautiful space with a cork-and-wood floor, fountain-strewn patio and gorgeous Laguiole cutlery opened by a chef from San Francisco (albeit a Southerner by birth). Kentuckians were skeptical, but Annie Pettry wooed and won. The emphasis of the delectable, seasonally changing menu is wood-fired roasts.
But Decca isn't afraid to give veggies the treatment, too – the wood-grilled broccoli with almonds and anchovy ($8) is an absolute knockout.
