Plus Coffee

Chattanooga

It's easy to drive right by this delightfully minimalist coffeehouse in the up-and-coming neighborhood of St Elmo at the foot of the Incline Railway – the sign disappears somewhat into the historic brick building on which it sits. Reclaimed-wood tables and vintage furniture dot the loft-like space, and the menu is simple: brew, pour over and espresso.

No need to tip – it actually pays its employees.
