Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery

Leading the charge to overturn century-old laws banning the production of whiskey in Chattanooga, the folks behind this new small-batch distillery keep the focus on quality. Tours cover the production and barrel-aging processes and end with a tasting: three spirits and three mini-cocktails. You can stop by in the evening (8pm to midnight Thursday to Saturday) for cocktail service without a tour.

A larger production facility recently opened along the riverfront, but no tours are yet offered there.
