Amélie's French Bakery & Cafe

Charlotte

This new, shiny and very big outlet of a much-loved local bakery chain is the perfect spot to rest your feet or meet friends Uptown. The sandwiches and toasted tartines are great value, but it’s the decadently voluptuous pastries that draw the crowds, from the simple almond cake known as a financier to the house version of a brioche.

Their vintage-styled original branch, at 2424 N Davidson St in the NoDa neighborhood, stays open 24 hours.
