Liberty Bar

San Antonio

You can’t miss this spectacular building, in the King William district a mile south of downtown. An 1883 home that became a Benedictine convent in 1939, it’s now painted circus-peanut orange, and positively glows after dark. Inside, soaring ceilings and big windows lend an airy vibe, while the wholesome menu ranges through salads, sandwiches, sourdough pizzas and full mains.

Wind down after dinner in the full bar on the 2nd floor.
