Austinites take their staycations at this boutique hotel, a smallish property that somehow squeezes four eateries, two bars, several shops and a pool into its stylish footprint. Minimalist rooms feel spacious and inviting (even if they're not warm and cuddly). If you want to be near, but not in, the late-night conviviality of South Congress, this hotel is a pleasant oasis just one block south.
And though the hotel may be starkly hip, the valets do a fine job with Texas hospitality. The pet fee is $125. Parking is a ridiculous $32 per night. If you can find a spot, and don't mind a short walk, park your car overnight on Congress. Electric bikes and Revival motorcycles for rent.
