At the top of winding Airport Rd, Sky Ranch boasts spectacular views of the town and surrounding red-rock country. It's a quiet respite from Sedona's peak-season hubbub, with spacious motel rooms scattered among six landscaped acres. It's free from fancy frills, with a pleasantly low-key wine bar off the lobby.
The lodge sits roughly two miles above Sedona's main drag and across the dirt road from the tiny airport, where there's a surprisingly good restaurant, Mesa Grill, and scenic air tours of the Grand Canyon.
