Little Elden Springs Horse Camp

In the Coconino National Forest just outside of Flagstaff, Little Elden Springs Horse Camp is a campground designated only for people with horses. It offers 15 horse-friendly campsites with hitching posts but no corrals. From here, riders can access more than 30 miles of equestrian trails through the pines, ranging from easy to the challenging Heart Trail.

To get here, head 5 miles northeast of Flagstaff on Hwy 89. Turn west on FR 556 and drive 2 miles to FR 556A, then turn right for the campground.
