If everything else is booked, check out this friendly motel, 4 miles west of the Hwy 12/63 junction. Standards may be a bit dreary and outdated – and the showers are downright Lilliputian – but deluxe rooms and cottages are smart. The attached restaurant is a favorite of locals. There’s also a small campground.
