Best Western Ruby’s Inn

Bryce Canyon National Park

This is a gargantuan motel complex with ample facilities located just 1 mile north of the park entrance. Standard rooms feature two beds, either queen or king size, coffeemakers and hair dryers, and while they feel rather modular, they are highly serviceable. Reserve well in advance during high season, and ask for a room upstairs to avoid the noise.

The sprawling property includes a grocery store with camping supplies, a gas station, a post office, a coin laundry, an indoor pool and hot tub, showers, a currency exchange service, a perfectly kitsch onsite gallery and a liquor store (a rarity around here). There's plenty of room for kids to roam, and they'll love exploring the different little corners in the massive complex.

The tour desk can book helicopter tours and horseback riding. Ruby’s also rents bicycles and ATVs. In summer there's a nightly rodeo (except Sunday), though we don't recommend it due to the animal welfare issues involved. Ruby's RV Park & Campground is just a few hundred feet south of here on the same side of the road.
