Charleston's first microbrewery (since Prohibition, anyway) produces four main craft beers with fresh barley malts and hops: an amber ale, a pilsner and a couple of India Pale Ales (IPAs). It also has rotating special ales and even a 'Brose' radler (shandy). Tours are available on weekdays at 5pm, and the tap room and outdoor beer garden are lively on weekends, particularly Fridays.
In 2017 the business was sold to Catawba Brewing Company, and facility and equipment upgrades were pending at the time of research.
