It would be one thing if Lost Lake was merely a loving homage to David Lynch's hit TV mystery hour Twin Peaks, but the food is also fantastic – much better than other gimmick restaurants of its ilk. It specializes in diner grub, but sub in bold flavors and nix the frozen vegetables. Everything here is fresh and tasty.
One half of the restaurant is an Americana diner, while the other looks like a delightfully dim and mysterious roadhouse bar. You can get the full menu at both 24 hours a day. And before you ask: yes, it does indeed serve a damn fine cup of coffee.
