Canterbury Ale House

Seattle

During a 2014 renovation Capitol Hill's default old-world pub got rid of dark booths and the suit of armor that once guarded the door. These have been replaced with a more open, gastropub feel, which has good points (better food and a fine rendering of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales on the wall) and bad (too many TVs).

The Geeks Who Drink trivia night (Wednesdays at 7pm) is legendary.
