Noise

Top choice in San Francisco

The more San Francisco changes, the more this incredible indie record store, art gallery and performance space stays the same. Vinyl enthusiasts will want to hang here for days browsing the vast collection, which is first organized by genre, then carefully alphabetized, and then described and rated on handwritten sticky notes by the store-owner's mom, Sara (who knows her stuff).

Best of all, Noise hosts intimate, free performances by the Bay Area's top local talent, and there's live jazz every Sunday from 3pm to 6pm.
