Sprague Creek Campground

Glacier National Park

Off Going-to-the-Sun Rd on the shore of Lake McDonald, the park’s smallest campground draws mostly tents – no vehicles over 21ft are allowed – and feels more intimate than many of the park’s other options, at least at night when the passing traffic goes to bed.

Arrive early to claim a site overlooking the lake. Hiker/biker sites $5.
