This well-run and friendly campground, located 1 mile west of West Glacier and off Hwy 2, sits on 40 acres of densely wooded grounds. Sites (all have electrical outlets) come in a variety of sizes and configurations, so it's best to check out several before committing. It also offers basic wooden cabins (you'll need to bring your own bedding).
Hearty grub, such as gumbo and catfish po'boys, is served from 7am to 3:30pm Tuesday to Sunday in the Sunflower Cafe restaurant (mains $10), an outdoor pavilion open to nonguests as well.
Nonguests can shower here for $5.
