Wynkoop’s Rail Yard is this brewery's most celebrated red ale, and beer fans file into the spacious brewpub to knock it back while tossing darts, shooting pool or taking in the breeze on the wide porch. The taps change with the season and the menu offers passable pub standards. Brewery tours available Tuesday through Saturday.

There's some local history here, too. Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper and a group of developers founded the brewpub in 1988, kicking off the urban renewal that took LoDo from sketchy warehouse district to the luminary upscale digs of today.
