Curtis Institute of Music

Philadelphia

One of the finest music conservatories in the world, the Curtis only accepts exceptionally gifted students into its tuition-free programs. If you attend one of the free student recitals (highly recommended!), mainly of solo and chamber works, you'll witness some extraordinary performances in the institute's elegant wood-paneled Field Concert Hall.

Performances by the Curtis' opera students, symphony orchestra and alumni are generally ticketed from around $25.
