Tasty n Daughters

Top choice in Portland

After a nine-year run, chef John Gorham, of Toro Bravo fame, took brunch favorite Tasty n Sons, formerly on N Williams, to southeast Portland. The reboot – renamed to accurately reflect his offspring – retained favorites like shakshuka and patatas bravas, but added fresh pasta and seafood to the menu. Most notable is a new Turkish influence – the pide breakfast pizza is a must.

Housed in the shuttered Woodsman Tavern, the rustic space features exposed brick, tufted leather booths and mahogany tables. A wait is most certainly guaranteed – kill time with cocktails and board games while listening to vinyl records at their 'R&R Room' next door, open daily. Compare and contrast with its sibling, Tasty n Alder.
