Schilling Cider House

Portland

A corner tenant in the Portland 'Goat Blocks' development, this massive pub has a vast selection of hard ciders on tap, and a covered patio with fireplaces to sit around while you sip. The building is named for the herd of goats that lived in these blocks for years, mowing grass and winning hearts, before the lots were developed.

The goats have since been relocated to a field further southeast (at 92nd Ave and Harold St). They remain a beloved neighborhood fixture.
